United Way events provide a platform to share both our story as well as the stories of our funded Member Agencies, Volunteers, and Donors. To host high-quality events, the United Way is asking you and your organization to support one, two, or all three of our major events: 2026-27 Campaign Event Sponsor, Legacy Donor Soiree, and Day of Caring & Personal Care Drive.

Sponsorship benefits will not be fulfilled until full payment is received. A delay to send sponsorship payment by due date listed below, could result in loss of some sponsor benefits including printed representation on event signage, t-shirts, etc.

For more than a century, the United Way of Cayuga County has and continues to raise critical dollars to support our neighbors. Gatherings such as Kickoff and Campaign Celebration are essential parts of the annual drive to bring our volunteers, donors, sponsors, and neighbors together to encourage and thank supporters for their gifts.
Sponsors also offset the costs of our annual Employee Campaign Coordinator Appreciation and Orientation sessions that will be returning this summer to help increase workplace giving by providing these volunteers with training.

LEGACY DONOR SOIREE
Thursday, July 30, 2026 | Old Hickory Farm, Weedsport
The third annual Legacy Donor Soiree is an opportunity to celebrate and thank our incredible community members who are part of the Everett Society, made an annual gift of $500+, and our Legacy Donors, those who have given any amount for five consecutive years or more. This invitation only event will be hosted at Old Hickory Farm in Weedsport and includes a dinner, cash bar, and large raffle baskets featuring products from and experiences throughout Cayuga County.
Sponsorships enable us to keep the registration cost at $10 per attendee. Sponsor dollars are used to cover the total costs of food, musicians, photographer, donor gifts, decorations, and other needed items.

DAY OF CARING & PERSONAL CARE DRIVE
DOC: Thursday, August 6, 2026 | PCD: August - October, 2026
DAY OF CARING: Join us for the 6th Annual Day of Caring where volunteers sign up to tackle day-long projects furthering the missions of nonprofits serving Cayuga County residents. Projects range from painting, stair repair, administrative work, gardening, and more. The 2026 event will be a special ‘Giving Day’ to support the Community Building Mini-Grant program that monetarily supports nonprofits year-round.
COUNTYWIDE PERSONAL CARE DRIVE: Support the 9th Annual Countywide Personal Care Drive! This three-month effort brings together community members and businesses to collect hygiene items to support the growing need for these products at Cayuga County food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters. The 2026 drive will feature a ‘shopping list’ for those wanting to support from the comfort of their homes.
Sponsor dollars are used to cover the costs of hosting this event from marketing materials, event t-shirts, breakfast rally food items, volunteer snacks, and more.
