Auburn, New York, October 7, 2026 – Do You Know ALICE? Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed? Learn more about ALICE during the United Way’s Annual Meeting on Wednesday, October 28 at the Hilton Garden Inn from 9:00am – 10:30am. Tickets are $15 per person and include: breakfast, ALICE Simulation, and formal program.
Check-in and breakfast begin at 9:00am while the ALICE Simulation is slated to start at 9:20am. In Cayuga County 38% of residents live below the ALICE threshold and they face difficult choices every month about housing, food, childcare, transportation, and much more. The forty-minute simulation and discussion will give participants an opportunity to experience the difficult choices our ALICE families face and concludes with a conversation about what it means to survive in Cayuga County and how the United Way is convening partners in our community to support neighbors.
