United Way Funding
The United Way of Cayuga County currently funds 46 programs among 24 partner agencies. Each year, United Way’s Fund Distribution/Agency Relations Committee conducts a long, strict process of partner agency reviews, interviews and community research. It is the committee’s fiduciary responsibility to allocate the campaign funds to the appropriate funding areas listed below.

Community Response Fund (CRF)
This is a special fund which provides immediate funds to agencies if there is a crisis situation within a funded program and/or a new program is developed to address an emergent community need. Agencies are encouraged to collaborate with other agencies for this funding.
